Jennie Stern joined the Department of Pediatric Biostatistics in 2009 as the Clinical System Analyst. Ms. Stern is responsible for the maintenance and project management of integrated applications and databases for ACHRI. She will be developing a new, user-friendly research database for end-users and providing various types of data analysis in regards to research. Ms. Stern will be working with research investigators and will be the liaison between Pediatric Biostatistics, investigators, and ACH’s Systems Development Group.

Ms. Stern has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and has been in the information technology field as a data analyst for ten years. She is currently pursuing a MBA from Webster University. She has worked for UAMS for eight years.

While at UAMS, she worked at the Memory Research Center where she maintained and analyzed the data on participants. This data was collected and sent to the national database to support efforts to find a new treatment and discover a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. She worked closely with pilot investigators on research projects and data analysis. She worked for Ouachita Technical College and was instrumental in analyzing data for the Achieving the Dream organization and data teams preparing data in a user-friendly format. She also managed the college’s website.
