Inna Selivra, CRA

Ms. Selivra became the Research Account Coordinator for ACHRI in April 2007. She assists the Research Account Administrator in the daily management of grant accounts including establishing accounts and monitoring expenditures. Her duties include reconciling account balances in the financial systems used at ACHRI and ACH on a scheduled basis to ensure accurate reporting. Ms. Selivra prepares and updates various reports including tracking of the Arkansas Biosciences Institute (ABI) funds and expenditures, recording support provided by ACHRI to principal investigators, and assisting the Research Account Administrator in developing new reports to assist ACHRI administration in decision making. She will assist principal investigators and their staffs with implementing the new Time and Effort Reporting System and will be the contact person for questions and concerns for this reporting system. She also schedules meetings with researchers and staff to review of accounts.

Ms. Selivra came to ACHRI from UAMS where she worked in various accounting positions for over 10 years. At the College of Nursing, she was a Grant Budget Manager providing financial reports for grants and restricted accounts to the Associate Dean for Administration. She managed financial activity on over 30 grants accounts, including the Tailored Biobehavioral Interventions Research Center (TBIRC) grant. As a Grant/Contract Manager for the Department of Pediatrics, her responsibilities included post-award management of grant accounts and contract billing. At UAMS’ General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), Ms. Selivra managed the financial activities of the Center Grant and performed budget analysis and projections In addition, she worked in the Controller’s Office, Grants Accounting Department, where she prepared financial status reports to the sponsoring agencies. She has handled part of the Time and Effort Reports Certification at the university. Prior to her tenure at UAMS, Ms. Selivra was an economist at a Russian bank overseeing international transfers and hard currency trade on St. Petersburg’s currency market. Ms. Selivra earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Petersburg’s F. Engels University. She has completed the UAMS Grants Management Certification Program. She is a member of National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and is a Certified Research Administrator. Ms. Selivra volunteers at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as a Russian interpreter.
