Ms. Selivra became the Research Account Coordinator for ACHRI in April 2007. She assists the Research Account Administrator in the daily management of grant accounts including establishing accounts and monitoring expenditures. Her duties include reconciling account balances in the financial systems used at ACHRI and ACH on a scheduled basis to ensure accurate reporting. Ms. Selivra prepares and updates various reports including tracking of the Arkansas Biosciences Institute (ABI) funds and expenditures and assisting the Research Account Administrator in developing new reports to assist ACHRI administration in decision making. She schedules meetings with researchers and staff to review of accounts. Daily she reviews purchases and check requests to ensure award and institutional guidelines are met.
Ms. Selivra came to ACHRI from UAMS where she worked in various accounting positions for over 10 years. At the College of Nursing, she was a Grant Budget Manager providing financial reports for grants and restricted accounts to the Associate Dean for Administration. She managed financial activity on over 30 grants accounts, including the Tailored Biobehavioral Interventions Research Center (TBIRC) grant. As a Grant/Contract Manager for the Department of Pediatrics, her responsibilities included post-award management of grant accounts and contract billing. Ms. Selivra earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Petersburg’s F. Engels University. She has completed the UAMS Grants Management Certification Program. She is a Certified Research Administrator and a member of National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). Ms. Selivra volunteers at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as a Russian interpreter.
