Ms. Norton has been the Administrative Assistant to the President since September 2004. She assists the President with administrative duties including coordination of administrative calendars, arrangements for executive travel, and preparations for business meetings. In addition, Ms. Norton schedules the Institute’s monthly Research Conferences, meetings and seminars to update ACHRI researchers on current research findings and developments. She records all minutes and maintains files for the ACHRI Board of Directors and its Executive and Finance Committees. Ms. Norton has been with ACHRI since December 2002 when she was selected as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President.

Ms. Norton has 30 years of experience as an administrative assistant. This experience includes manufacturing, engineering, education, and hospital settings. Her experience also includes 10 years working in a Department of Labor program that assisted displaced farm workers with assignments to educational and training opportunities. Ms. Norton is a graduate of the Faulkner County Leadership Institute sponsored by the Faulkner County Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of Executive Women International. She volunteers with a breast cancer support group for the American Cancer Society and is a past Southwest Regional Member of the American Cancer Society Board of Directors.
