Ms. Grisham-Williams joined ACHRI in 2003. She serves as the institution's Contracts Attorney and drafts, negotiates and reviews a variety of contracts and other legal documents including all clinical trial agreements for human research studies conducted through ACHRI. She is a member of the UAMS Patent and Copyright Committee. Ms. Grisham-Williams earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Memphis and has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Murray State University. Her legal career has included workers compensation, general tort litigation, medical malpractice defense and insurance defense litigation. Prior to accepting her position at ACHRI, Ms. Grisham-Williams served as Assistant General Counsel for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Her science career has included six years as a research technician in the pharmacokinetics department of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ms. Grisham-Williams is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Tennessee and is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
