As ACHRI's Clinical Research Specialist, Ms. Contorno manages clinical trial accounts. She oversees the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and works with each investigator and coordinator to ensure that all invoices are been issued and paid. Ms. Contorno also works with investigators and coordinators to execute recruitment plans that involve advertisement through radio and print media.
Ms. Contorno came to ACHRI from the Center for Disease Detection in San Antonio, Texas, a private laboratory primarily engaged in government contracts, where she was a Quality Control Cytotechnologist and Researcher. She has a BS in Cytotechnology from UAMS and is a certified Cytotechnologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (CT, ASCP).
