Research Overview

Dr. Elser, in conjunction with the faculty in the General Pediatric Section, participates in many clinical trials, specifically vaccine trials, antibiotic trials, and headache research. Recent trials include treatment of pediatric headache, fungal infections in children, the efficacy of meningococcal vaccine in infants, and he will begin a study evaluating a combination vaccine in older children. Dr. Elser is also interested in the epidemiology and treatment of headache in children.
