Directions:
To reach the Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute, take the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive exit (Exit 2B) from Interstate 630 (Wilbur Mills Freeway). Eastbound traffic exits onto 8th Street and should continue east to MLK Drive (the second light) where you will turn right; westbound I-630 traffic exits directly to MLK Drive where you will turn left. Travel south on MLK Drive and turn right onto 11th Street. Drive one block west on 11th Street and turn left onto Bishop Street. Go south on Bishop Street one block and turn right to enter the parking lot at 12th Street. Reserved visitor parking spaces are available along the west side of the lot.
West of the parking lot (across Marshall Street), you will see a cluster of tan brick buildings anchored by the seven-story building marked ACH South Campus. You will access ACHRI's research administration offices via the ACH South Campus Building.
Research Building access is restricted. Use the house phone in the ACH South Campus Building lobby to contact the person you are visiting. (For telephone number that has a 364 prefix, dial 4 and then the rest of the number.) To reach the ACHRI research administration offices dial 4-7373 on the house phone (364-7373 on a cell phone).
To get to the sky bridge to the Research Building, take the ACH South Campus Building elevator to the 4th floor. Turn the corner on your right and cross the bridge that connects the ACH South Campus Building to the Research Building to meet your party.
Please be mindful of pedestrian traffic as you drive through the ACH grounds and parking lots.

Directions from I-40
From I-40 Eastbound (coming from Fort Smith)
From I-40 eastbound, take I-430 South (Exit 147) to I-630 East (Exit 6). Stay in the left lane as you get onto the exit for I-630 and follow the signs for University Avenue. Pass University Avenue and keep traveling on I-630 East and exit at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (Exit 2B). Eastbound traffic exits onto 8th Street and should continue east to MLK Drive (the second light) where you will turn right. Travel south on MLK Drive and turn right onto 11th Street. From Hwy. 65/167 Northbound (coming from Pine Bluff)
Continue on I-30 East until you reach I-630. (From Pine Bluff, Hwy. 65/167 will join I-30, take I-30 East.) Take I-630 West for about 2 miles to Exit 2B ( Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive). Westbound I-630 traffic exits directly to MLK Drive where you will turn left. Travel south on MLK Drive and turn right onto 11th Street. Drive one block west on 11th Street and turn left onto Bishop Street. Go south on Bishop Street one block and turn right to enter the parking lot at 12th Street. Directions from the Little Rock Airport (Adams Field)
The closest airport is Adams Field in Little Rock which is approximately 6 miles from the Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute (ACHRI). If you will be renting a car, ask the rental agency how to get to I-440 West (which is very near the airport). Once you are on I-440 West, continue for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach I-30. Take I-30 East and continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach I-630. Take I-630 West for approximately 2 miles to Exit 2B. Take Exit 2B (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive) and follow the signs to Arkansas Children's Hospital (approximately 4 blocks from where you turn off I-630). ACH is almost directly across from the State Capital building, which you should see on the right-hand-side of I-630.
After you reach Marshall Street (the street directly in front of Arkansas Children's Hospital), drive past Arkansas Children's Hospital on your right, continue straight through a four-way stop intersection, and you will approach a cluster of tan colored buildings on your right. The entrance to ACHRI is in the building directly following and adjacent to the building named "ACH South Campus" which will be on your right.
The closest airport is Adams Field in Little Rock which is approximately 6 miles from the Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute (ACHRI). Once you are on I-440 West, continue for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach I-30. Take I-30 East and continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach I-630. Take I-630 West for about 2 miles to Exit 2B ( Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive). Westbound I-630 traffic exits directly to MLK Drive where you will turn left. Travel south on MLK Drive and turn right onto 10th Street (just past MLK Elementary). Drive two blocks west on 10th Street to the three-way stop at Marshall Street. Stop and turn left onto Marshall Street. On your right, you will approach a cluster of tan buildings anchored by the seven-story building marked "ACH South Campus". You will access ACHRI's research administration offices via the ACH South Campus Building. Take the ACH South Campus Building elevator to the 4th floor, and then turn the corner on your right and cross the bridge that connects the ACH South Campus Building to the Research Building. The research administration offices will be on your right immediately after you cross the bridge.
Parking:
Visitor parking is available in the lots directly across Marshall Street from the ACH South Campus and Research Buildings. Please note that parking directly in front of the Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center Building is restricted to ACNC patients only; however, you may park in the lot across Marshall Street from the ACNC.
